Role Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Motor Vehicle Trainer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organization within the education sector. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing apprentices engaging and high-quality learning experiences in Motor Vehicle, Fabrication and Welding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching & Assessment: Design and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of learners, ensuring all students receive a comprehensive education in Motor Vehicle, Fabrication and Welding.
- Practical Instruction: Liaise with learners and industry partners to plan and execute practical learning days, ensuring safety and educational value.
- Student Support: Monitor and assess learner progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Continuous Improvement: Engage in professional development to stay current with industry standards and educational best practices.
- Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations and safeguarding requirements, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Enrichment Activities: Participate in the college's enrichment programs and support the planning of educational trips and visits.
Qualifications & Experience
- Appropriate vocational qualifications to at least NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- Have, or be willing to work towards Assessor qualifications i.e., A1 and V1 awards or equivalent
- Have, or be willing to work towards a teaching qualification
