About the Service

Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal is a leading provider of mental health services, offering a range of comprehensive inpatient and outpatient programs for young people and adults. Our Fern Unit is a locked rehabilitation unit that runs a comprehensive Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) treatment program, focusing on empowering patients to manage and plan their own lives in a safe and effective way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
  • Contribute to the development of our comprehensive inpatient mental health services, including the design and implementation of new programs and services
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to provide a safe and supportive environment for patients
  • Participate in the training and development of new staff members, including DBT training

Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification and valid NMC Pin
  • Experience working in a mental health setting, preferably in a DBT rehabilitation unit
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
