About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Casual Steward to join our team on the British Pullman, a Belmond Train. As a Casual Steward, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to our guests, ensuring that all guest areas are well-maintained, and completing back-of-house duties in a timely fashion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the restaurant cars and related areas for smooth operation.
  • Ensure the wellbeing and safety of your allocated car and passengers.
  • Deliver cleaning and maintenance duties to the highest standards.
  • Assist with depot, Victoria Lounge, and departure point operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and handle guest interactions with professionalism.
  • Stay up-to-date with onboard menus, boutique items, and Belmond British Pullman operations.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain high standards.
  • Anticipate and respond to passenger requests, including dietary, medical, and special occasion requests.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal cleanliness and appearance.
Requirements
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Previous hospitality experience in a luxury environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of food and beverage.
  • Professional, credible, confident, and enthusiastic individual.
  • Availability to attend training, preparation, depot, cleaning, and medical days as required.
