Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infant Feeding Specialist to join our team at HENRY. As an accredited Infant Feeding Practitioner/Breastfeeding Counsellor, you will have a passion for supporting families with breastfeeding and bottle-feeding journeys.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing face-to-face support to families with both breastfeeding and bottle-feeding needs
  • Building and maintaining relationships with health and infant feeding partners to share our offer and support more local families
  • Leading group sessions in a community setting, promoting a supportive environment for excellent care delivery

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Breastfeeding training, at least Peer Supporter level from a recognised organisation (e.g. BfN, ABM, NCT)
  • Desirable qualifications include Breastfeeding Counsellor, Lactation Consultant, UNICEF Baby Friendly Training, and NNEB/NVQ 2 or 3 in childcare
What We Offer

We offer a flexible working arrangement, with 6 hours set and the other 6 hours able to be flexed around family life. We also have another vacancy for an Infant Feeding Practitioner for 2-3 days a week.
