About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Time and Recovery Worker to join our team at Coleman House in Dover. As a key member of our South Kent Coastal Mental Health Together+ Team, you will play a vital role in promoting recovery for individuals diagnosed with severe and enduring mental ill health, as well as providing services to older adults with ongoing mental health needs and dementia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with service users to promote engagement and facilitate independence and self-management.
  • Establish therapeutic relationships to address recovery goals and provide access to resources and services.
  • Work closely with occupational therapists and nursing staff to support the effective functioning of a depot/clozapine clinic.
  • Visit service users in their homes as required and participate in groups with psychology and occupational therapy teams.
  • Opportunities to run groups with occupational therapists and train in venepuncture and ECGs.
What We Offer
  • Monthly supervision (clinical and managerial)
  • Participation in the clinic staff supporting nurses with physical health monitoring for patients receiving depot injections or clozapine blood monitoring.
  • Opportunity to train in venepuncture and perform ECGs.
  • Mandatory training and admin support.
