We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Treasury Manager to join our client's team in a 12-month interim assignment. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing the company's treasury functions, including cash management, working capital optimization, and foreign exchange risk management.
Key Responsibilities:- Improve Cash Reporting and Cash Flow Forecasting: Develop and implement effective cash reporting and cash flow forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
- Optimize Working Capital Management: Oversee working capital management to optimize efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring the company's cash and liquidity needs are met.
- Manage Foreign Exchange Risk: Lead the mitigation of foreign exchange risk through various means, including natural hedging and financial instruments.
- Enhance Financial Controls: Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial controls in the areas of treasury, including bank reconciliation and payments controls.
- Maintain Bank Mandates: Ensure bank mandates are in place to restrict access to bank accounts appropriately and efficiently.
- Oversee Banking Operations: Manage efficient and effective banking operations, identifying and leading improvements.
- Provide Banking and Payment Facilities: Ensure the provision of banking and payment facilities that are fit for purpose and facilitate business operations.
- Implement Treasury IT Solutions: Govern the implementation of Treasury IT solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage Monthly Forecasts: Manage monthly forecasts, including overseas and debt drawdowns.
- Manage Key Relationships: Manage key relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
- Control Group Debt Compliance: Control group debt compliance and implement strategies to minimize group credit usage and reduce interest expenses.
- Provide Treasury Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert on treasury matters, providing guidance, training, and policies within the Finance team and across the organization.
- Meet Performance Expectations: Meet the performance and information expectations of the Private Equity owners.
- Qualified Accountant: Qualified Accountant (ACT, ACA, or equivalent)
- Group Treasury Experience: Experience working within a Group Treasury team
- Cash Management Skills: Management of cash pooling, working capital, and loan facilities
- Analytical and Data Organization Skills: Strong analytical and data organization skills
