Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our successful Learning Support Team. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with special educational needs, working closely with the SENDCo and other teaching staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Main Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant with leadership responsibilities, you will be responsible for overseeing interventions in the relevant key stage, observing support in lessons, and planning provision in conjunction with the SENDCo. You will also assist the SENDCo in determining intervention targets, upload interventions to SIMs, and monitor student progress using SISRA. Additionally, you will be responsible for updating spreadsheets with exam concessions, preparing exam timetables, and assisting with the transition process between KS2 and KS3, as well as post-16. You will also be involved in preparing paperwork for EHCP reviews, attending annual review meetings, and ensuring actions are relevant to outcomes in EHCPs.
