Job Overview:
Aspire People are recruiting for a Mental Health Teaching Assistant to join our client school in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience working with young people to make a real difference in the lives of students with SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with students with SEMH challenges, using your knowledge and skills to develop effective strategies for support.
  • Handle and manage challenging behaviour with confidence and professionalism, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Support students in Maths, English, and Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping them to achieve their academic goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Track and report on student progress, providing valuable feedback to teachers and parents.

Requirements:
* Experience working with young people, particularly those with SEMH needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
* A passion for making a positive impact on students' lives
