About the Role

Aramark UK is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Sous Chef to join the team at Chessington World of Adventures Resort. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, reporting directly to the Operational Head Chef.

The Senior Sous Chef will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a large team, as well as being involved in the constant innovation and evolution of our product. You will champion the people part of our business, supporting the Head Chef in carrying out team 1-2-1s, completing rotas, and training plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for the overall kitchen operation in the absence of the Head Chef
  • Oversee the general production of breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Maintain food hygiene, service, and presentation to a high standard
  • Support with managing the P&L and all associated financials
  • Deliver first-class food throughout service
  • Manage all associated administration
  • Manage and champion daily and weekly cleaning schedules
  • Ensure compliance of all processes and procedures
Requirements
  • Relevant culinary experience operating at a Sous Chef or Head Chef level
  • A passion for food and service
  • Flexible approach to hours and duties
  • IT literate, numerate, and able to communicate across cross-discipline stakeholders
