Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Food Safety Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) specific to chilled food products.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Stay updated on changes in food safety legislation and ensure that company practices are aligned with the latest requirements.
• Manage and lead the company's response to any quality or safety incidents, including product recalls or customer complaints.

Requirements
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, quality management systems, and experience in the chilled foods sector.
• Previous experience within a technical or quality assurance department.
• Food-related qualifications and operating within the guidelines of BRCGS and customer standards.
• Knowledge of technical requirements within a low-risk factory environment.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing quality management systems.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per year.
