Explosives Safety and Regulatory Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Explosives Safety and Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team at Electus Recruitment. This is a key role that requires a strong background in ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, particularly COMAH, to maintain production capabilities.
About the RoleIn this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining safe systems of work, processes, and controls. You will conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks, as well as collaborate with stakeholders to implement compliance measures.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Maintain Safe Systems: Design, implement, and monitor safe systems of work, processes, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Audit and Inspection: Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including management and employees, to communicate compliance requirements and ensure effective implementation.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of explosives safety regulations, particularly COMAH.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions.
We offer a competitive salary range of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development within the company.
