Job Description

As a Live In Care Assistant, you will provide personalized support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes. Your role will involve a variety of non-medical tasks, including home help, companionship, personal care, dementia support, medication management, and meal preparation.



Key Responsibilities


  • Provide exceptional care and support to clients, promoting their physical and emotional well-being
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare meals and snacks, ensuring clients' dietary needs are met
  • Engage in meaningful activities, such as conversation, reading, and outings, to combat loneliness and boredom
  • Monitor and manage medications, following established protocols
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment, adhering to health and safety standards


Requirements


  • Kind and compassionate nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on clients' lives
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • DBS Update Service or Enhanced DBS Application (all applicants will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check)
  • Able to use our CAREGiver app to log daily activities and report any changes in client condition
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful attitude, with excellent communication skills
