We are seeking a skilled Panel Wirer to join our team at Velatia. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the assembly, protection, and control of electrical panels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and protect electrical panels according to GA drawings
  • Layout and mechanical assembly of panels
  • Electrical wiring to schematic drawings
  • Electrical interconnection wiring
  • Point-to-point check of completed panels
  • Assembly of P&C panels on switchgear
  • Mechanical fitting
  • General assistance with day-to-day production operations
Requirements:
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical schematics
  • General IT skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively on your own or as part of a team
Education and Employment Background:
  • Relevant electrical qualification, such as a Level 3 qualification in a relevant field
  • BTec or City and Guilds electrical qualification or recognised apprenticeship/training body
Desirable:
  • Experience of electrical control panel wiring
  • Experience with the assembly of protection and control panels used to control medium voltage switchgear
Working Hours:
  • Monday-Thursday: 8am-5pm
  • Friday: 8am-1pm (Early finish)
