Nursery Care Specialist

JOBS 925 is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to our young children.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to nursery policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including the Children Act, Health and Safety legislation, and Ofsted guidelines.
- Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and supportive team environment, ensuring effective communication and confidentiality.
- Child Development and Care: Provide individualized care and supervision to meet the physical, emotional, and intellectual needs of our children, including planning and preparing activities that cater to their diverse needs.
- Equality and Diversity: Promote equal opportunities for all children, regardless of their background, and address any instances of racism or discrimination.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate development records and observations, as well as monitor accident, incident, and risk assessment records.
- Staff Supervision and Development: Supervise and mentor Nursery Assistants and Students, providing guidance and support to help them grow professionally.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with laundry duties, meal supervision, and other tasks as required.
- Professional Development: Participate in regular staff meetings, parents' evenings, and other events to stay updated on nursery policies and procedures.
