Nursery Care Specialist

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join our team at a lovely setting close to Blackheath. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in line with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and support children at all times, preparing and supervising activities to ensure their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment that promotes children's learning and development.
- Ensure equality of access and opportunity for all staff, parents, carers, and children, adhering to our nursery's policies and procedures.
- Carry out observations on children, linking their development to the areas of learning and ensuring their individual needs are identified and met.
- Undertake shared responsibility for health, safety, and cleanliness throughout the nursery, ensuring children are kept safe and that our safeguarding policy and procedure are followed.
- Hold a recognized childcare qualification at Level 2 or Level 3.
- Have previous experience working in a childcare setting.
- Be familiar with the Early Years Foundation Stage and its requirements.
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times, working collaboratively with children, parents, visitors, and colleagues to ensure the nursery's values are upheld.
