CNC Machinist Job Description

Staff Power Group Limited is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team in the Stanley area. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently set up CNC machines based on job specifications.
  • Operate CNC machines to produce precision components within tolerances.
  • Monitor machine performance, making adjustments for optimal production.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Check first offs and conduct in-process inspections.
  • Troubleshoot issues to ensure quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering for design feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines.
  • Maintain accurate records of setups, tool changes, and production runs.
Requirements:
  • Proven CNC Machinist experience.
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Solid understanding of machine tooling, cutting speeds, and feeds.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Experience programming and writing G codes (desirable).
