Job Title: Supply Chain Quality Manager

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Quality Manager to join our team on a contract basis.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and timely delivery of critical parts from suppliers.

  • You will collaborate with internal teams to foster strong cross-functional partnerships for optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct supplier and part risk assessments and develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular supplier progress updates to Purchasing and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Oversee the approval process for Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) parts according to the agreed timeline.
  • Manage the Non-PPAP part concession process, ensuring robust plans for each part during the build phases.
  • Lead Quality and Capacity Verification aligned with development targets.
  • Resolve major supplier-related issues, engaging senior management as necessary.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance quality and efficiency.
Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in supply chain quality engineering, including PPAP, 8D problem-solving, trials, and capacity planning.
  • Strong skills in risk assessment, supplier reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
