Job Title: Property Claims Underwriter

The Emerald Group is seeking a seasoned Property Claims Underwriter to lead our delegation of property claims in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for underwriting new and renewal property binders, exercising sound judgement and adhering to our company's underwriting plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective underwriting strategies to maximize profit and maintain our company's reputation.
  • Collaborate with Coverholders and Brokers to strengthen existing relationships and secure new business opportunities.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with FCA/PRA and Lloyd's regulations.
Requirements:
  • Advanced knowledge of International Commercial property business, liability, and FCA/PRA regulations.
  • Proven experience in underwriting and property claims management.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Please note that this is a permanent position in London, requiring strong understanding of local regulatory requirements.
