Job Description

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support primary pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Bournemouth. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with complex additional needs and be able to provide tailored support on a 1:1 basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with SEN in a small group and 1:1 settings
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to provide a high-quality learning environment
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the needs of pupils
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • DBS clearance and right to work in the UK
