Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Principal Teacher Curriculum to join our Science Faculty. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will contribute to the strategic vision for the Science faculty and the school, working closely with stakeholders to implement and pursue objectives set in policies.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for leading and managing school improvement, both at strategic and operational levels, to ensure continuous improvement. You will also demonstrate a commitment to your own professional learning as a practitioner through career-long professional learning activity and show how this has impacted on your practice.

Requirements

You must have high levels of interpersonal skills and abilities, be fully registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) in the relevant sector, and model all behaviour expected of a teacher in Scotland in line with the relevant Professional Standards. You will also be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
