Product Support Technician Role
We are seeking a skilled Product Support Technician to join our team at Medstrom, a leading provider of medical devices and equipment. As a Product Support Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our products and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our dynamic team to provide technical support and maintenance for our medical equipment
- Deliver product demonstrations and training to hospital staff and caregivers
- Assist with product installations and repairs, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services
- Work closely with our commercial team to meet customer service level agreements and exceed expectations
- Perform pre-installation maintenance on medical equipment and complete records of testing, delivery, and collection
- Identify potential opportunities for improvement and communicate effectively with the team
- Manage day-to-day jobs and prioritize tasks to achieve Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets
Requirements:
- Experience in a customer service and/or customer-facing environment
- Knowledge of Medstrom and/or other medical device manufacturers' products
- Mechanical and/or electrical experience
- Experience working within a healthcare setting
- Proactive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and ability to communicate effectively
- Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety rules, and basic PC skills
- DBS-checked and full, valid UK driving license required
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, working Friday to Tuesday, 9:30am - 6pm. Opportunity for overtime and on-call rota with shift allowance and additional payment for hours worked.
