Paediatric Research Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic paediatric research nurse to join our dynamic research nursing team within the Bone Marrow Transplant speciality on a full-time permanent contract.
The successful candidate will work alongside the band 7 research nurse leading and coordinating the delivery of the BMT speciality research portfolios, promoting high standards of both patient care and research practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated paediatric nurse with BMT experience to gain research experience with flexible working hours and the opportunity to maintain clinical skills, while being supported by an experienced team of research nurses.

Person Specification- GOSH Always Values
- NMC Registered Nurse and relevant nursing qualification
- Evidence of ongoing professional development relating to clinical speciality
- Knowledge and understanding of diverse backgrounds and perspectives
- Experience of co-ordinating and managing patient care
- Experience of having worked with acute/chronically sick children or specialised transferable skills
- Understanding of professional and current issues in children's nursing
- Understanding of Diversity and Inclusion challenges in the workplace
- Understanding of the importance of research and evidence-based practice
- Basic knowledge of computer skills
- Evidence of fulfilling requirements for Revalidation
- Understanding of safeguarding issues according to Trust policies and procedures
- Understanding of principles of clinical governance (e.g. risk management, audit, quality)
