Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Lettings Property Marketing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our lettings team, you will be responsible for marketing and letting properties to customers, managing the process from the outgoing customer giving notice to end their tenancy, through to onboarding the new customer into their home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market and let properties in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with policy and procedure.
  • Determine the relet rent for affordable rent tenancies, in accordance with agreed criteria, and ensure all other rents are applied in accordance with the rent setting policy.
  • Ensure customers are central to the service and receive timely and effective information and advice.
  • Liaise with local authority partners in respect of nominations agreements, adverts, and nominations, including attending meetings as required.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure delivery of a seamless letting service.
  • Maintain strong links and working relationships with colleagues across the business, local authorities, and other key partners and organizations to ensure a smooth letting process.
  • Contribute to improving and implementing new/revised processes.
  • Keep clear and accurate records, and provide performance information as required.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and protection policies and processes when using company and local authority partner systems.

Requirements:

  • Educated to GCSE level 4 – 9 standard or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing role.
  • Ideally social housing knowledge and experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and assess key information from mass data.
  • Ability to produce clear, concise reports, correspondence, and marketing information in plain English and appropriate to target audience.
  • Able to role model the values of the business, including in relation to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Able to efficiently travel across a large geographical area, to meet and respond to the needs of the business.
