Job Description

As the Global Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead in ensuring efficient, flexible, and responsive processes to meet customer needs. You will be leading the site and overseeing quality procedures across the supply chain supporting the wider business in maintaining compliance with GMP and ISO9001.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all products are fit for purpose, meet the requirements of acceptable quality, are safe, and consistently meet legal and regulatory compliance to local markets.
  • Lead a team to plan, direct, and coordinate quality assurance programs and formulate quality control procedures and policies for a broad product range.
  • Lead on ensuring due diligence, risk assessment, and compliance within all markets - product, packaging including continual research for forward legislative and regulatory changes.
  • Actively engage and support all new product development - advisory, technical liaison, and support with manufacturing, testing, and critical path management.
  • Product performance data analysis, reporting, and rectification action.
  • Waste and recycling compliance and reporting.
  • The first point of escalation for customer issues and work closely with all departments involved to ensure that customer complaints are effectively dealt with and rapidly resolved.
  • Lead root cause analysis, resolution, and future-proofing activities.
  • Liaise with other departments throughout the company to ensure quality management systems are implemented and functioning correctly.
  • Lead the quality team to achieve company goals and standards.
  • Provide technical expertise to the extended network on quality, regulatory, and compliance practices across a global landscape.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of all key elements of a Quality Management System and full understanding of ISO 9001 or GMP.
  • Proven compliance experience (ideally with global exposure).
  • Exposure to multiple material categories and an understanding of consumer packaging and surrounding legislation (e.g. global recycling requirements, standards, and packaging waste reporting).
  • Experience of New Product Development processes and working closely with factories and suppliers at varying stages to ensure quality procedures are consistently implemented.
  • Commitment to researching and embedding best practice quality procedures and new regulations.
  • Hybrid working model.
