Regulatory Affairs Specialist

The National Farmers Union (NFU) is the largest farming organization in the UK, shaping attitudes towards British farming and leading the charge on key issues such as climate change, food standards, rural crime, and broadband rollout.
The Legal Assistance Scheme Adviser plays a pivotal role in providing expert legal and technical guidance to NFU members, managing a diverse caseload while promoting the scheme within designated regions. Responsibilities include reviewing individual and group applications for assistance, awarding financial support, and working collaboratively with a team of four advisers and a manager.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in private practice or an in-house legal department, with the ability to provide sound legal advice, manage caseloads, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, analytical ability, and attention to detail are essential.
