Financial Reporting Manager

**Job Summary**
NRG is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Controller to join our Finance department. As a key member of the Financial Reporting & Governance section, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reports.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the monthly closing process, including the preparation of financial statements and presentation to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting and governance policies, including the preparation of statutory accounts.
- Assist the section manager with technical accounting matters, including the interpretation of accounting standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
- Prepare and submit internal control questionnaires to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
**Requirements**
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with experience in statutory accounts preparation.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, including Pension & Lease accounting.
- Coordinating internal controls and compliance with SOX requirements.
- Ability to present data in a clear and structured way for various audiences.
- Proactive and inquisitive nature, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- SAP proficiency and strong spreadsheet (Excel) and PowerPoint skills.
