Job Title: Multidisciplinary Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Multidisciplinary Therapy Assistant to join our Assessment and Rehabilitation Centre team at Upton Hospital in Slough. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and support.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients throughout the reablement process, helping them to achieve their agreed goals and improve their overall well-being.
  • Support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals, working closely with therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans.
  • Contribute to the administrative duties of the therapy rehabilitation service, including data inputting and maintaining stock.
  • Complete tasks delegated by therapists, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and support.

Requirements:
  • NVQ level 3 in healthcare or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience within a therapy setting, preferably in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Car driver with access to a car for work purposes.
  • Ability to participate in a 6-day rota, including occasional Saturdays.
