About the Role

We are looking for an experienced lecturer to join our team and teach science modules to adult learners on our Access to Higher Education programmes. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent teaching skills, and experience of working with adult learners in further education.

Responsibilities

• Teach science modules, including biomolecules and cell biology
• Mark and assess student work
• Contribute to curriculum development and review
• Provide administrative support for the programme team
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to decision-making processes

Requirements

• A UK Honours degree or ENIC recognised degree
• A recognised teaching qualification (or working towards one with a completion date of summer 2025)
• Experience of teaching adults in further education
• Ability to motivate and inspire students
• Strong organisational and communication skills
