About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at Capita. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and resolving hardware issues for our clients in the designated region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your own ticket queue to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are achieved.
  • Provide technical support and resolve hardware issues for clients in the designated region.
  • Travel to client sites to provide deskside support and resolve technical issues.
  • Work with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide solutions to meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge and skills to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows OS & MS Office Suite.
  • Previous experience of installation and configuration of end-user devices.
  • Previous experience of diagnosing and repairing end-user IT hardware.
  • Experience of providing deskside support.
  • Excellent customer facing skills with the ability to deal with difficult customers.
  • Ability to work on own and under pressure.
  • Ability to follow a SMART Hands working process.
  • Self-Management with Good Organisational Skills.
  • Ability to follow remote advanced technical instruction.
  • Able to work to KPIs and SLA's.
  • Must be eligible for SC clearance.
