About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and inquisitive Civil/Environmental Engineer to join our Environmental and Health division in our Syracuse, Rochester, Albany, or Buffalo NY offices.

As a Staff Engineer, you will be part of an ambitious, diverse, creative, and collaborative investigation and remediation team within our Environment and Health practice. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver innovative, inspiring, and sustainable solutions that set new standards and make a genuine difference to our clients, the environment, and society.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop technical reports, design drawings, and technical specifications following design, construction, and government standards.
  • Prepare basic designs and analyses, including design calculations, field data results, conclusions, and cost estimates.
  • Visit job sites to gain field experience, broaden your background, and develop practical engineering skills.
  • Perform field investigations to assist investigation, design, and construction efforts.
  • Participate in troubleshooting remedial systems in operation, maintenance, and monitoring phase.
  • Contribute to creating and maintaining a safety culture in the office and at the job site.
