We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Lifeways in Ashington. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling individuals to lead their most independent lives.
Key Responsibilities- Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as cooking, laundry, and household chores.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, toileting, and feeding, as needed.
- Encourage and support individuals to participate in various activities, such as swimming, shopping, and community events.
- Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement personalized support plans.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting their overall well-being.
We provide a comprehensive induction program, ongoing training, and support from a dedicated Manager. You will also have the opportunity to undertake a qualification in health and social care, funded by Lifeways Group.
Working ArrangementsWe offer a range of contracts, including full-time, part-time, and sessional/bank hours. Working hours are on a shift pattern rota basis, including some weekend working.
