About the Opportunity:

We are committed to developing talented young players through our Academy Coaching Department within the Foundation phase at Nottingham Forest.

As a Youth Performance Specialist, you will play a key role in implementing our modern player development processes and contributing to the delivery of our coaching vision in line with our player development key performance indicators. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing players of elite quality who are technically excellent and creative.
  • Staying up-to-date with current trends in coaching/teaching, player development, and industry best practices.
  • Implementing high standards of practice across academy training and match days.
  • Making informed recommendations regarding the signing of trialists and the retention of players.
  • Acting as a positive role model and ensuring that all players under your care behave in an appropriate fashion.

You will be expected to work collaboratively with the Academy Phase Leads and take part in Continued Professional Development (CPD) activities to improve the quality of your coaching. A valid DBS check and safeguarding children certificate are essential qualifications.

Estimated Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum
