Project Overview:
Our construction team is currently working on several high-profile projects in the UK. We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team and contribute to the success of these projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing cost estimation, procurement, and contract negotiation to ensure project financial efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:
* Manage cost estimation, procurement, and contract negotiation for construction projects.
* Develop and implement cost-saving strategies to reduce project costs.
* Analyze financial reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
* Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure the best deals.
* Monitor and manage project cash flows and budgets to ensure timely completion.
* Identify and assess commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize losses.
* Ensure compliance with relevant construction regulations and legislation.
* Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project targets are met.

Requirements:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
* Extensive experience (5+ years) in a similar role within the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and best practices.
* Proficiency in cost management software and financial reporting tools.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is preferred.
* Full UK driving license.
