Job Title: Business Controls/Compliance Officer

Are you looking for a challenging role that will put your skills to the test in a global financial institution? Citi's ICRM - Surveillance & Employee Licensing Compliance Team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Controls/Compliance Officer to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Business Controls/Compliance Officer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing controls and solutions to support Surveillance, Employee Compliance, and Control Room teams. This role will involve detecting behaviors that may violate regulatory rules or internal policies and procedures, as well as ensuring the consistency and relevance of controls across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a senior escalation point to provide advice and challenge to stakeholders on policy requirements.
  • Coordinate internal audit, external audit, and regulatory requests.
  • Create, enhance, and implement compliance controls covering control room.
  • Gather, review, investigate, and analyze control room-related data.
  • Participate in ad-hoc requests, special projects, and regulatory exams.
  • Oversee monitoring of adherence to ICRM's Risk Policies and procedures.
  • Prepare, edit, and maintain Compliance program-related materials.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes, new regulations, and internal policy changes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in compliance, legal, or control-related functions in the financial services industry.
  • Expertise in regulatory landscape pertinent to Control Room.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with regional and global partners.
  • Experience in managing regulatory exams and relationships with examiners.
