About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Physical Disabilities Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs and available support. You will also manage a complex caseload, provide supervision for Case Workers and Senior Case Workers, and practice advice on complex cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals' needs and available support.
  • Manage a complex caseload, providing supervision and guidance to Case Workers and Senior Case Workers.
  • Provide practice advice on complex cases, ensuring the best possible outcomes for service users.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Triaging safeguarding referrals and making informed decisions.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England (SWE).
  • Experience of undertaking care act assessments within a statutory setting.
  • A sound understanding of how to apply a strengths-based approach.
  • Understanding of social work issues, legal frameworks, and social services' statutory duties.
  • Commitment to demonstrating our values and behaviours.

Travel Requirements:

You will be required to travel to various locations within Hampshire or other local authorities, and it is essential that you have a current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle on a regular basis.
