Merchandising Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to join our planning team at Hush. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for analysing sales data, assisting in planning, and ensuring critical path dates are achieved to provide the best range to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure a good understanding of key planning documents and check that history is accurate.
Assist in the construction of the optimum range plan with supporting analysis, ensuring all documents are accurately completed within the buying cycle timeframe.
Contribute to range building discussions using Lessons Learnt.
Support the Merchandiser with building category WSSI in relation to sales phasing and required stock builds.
Focus on the core offer, managing line cards and volume line planning.

Trading Responsibilities:

Produce trading reports to summarise, analyse, and identify key sales drivers.
Gain a good understanding of product performance and articulate in Best/Worst meetings.
Make weekly trading proposals to the Merchandiser in relation to sales reactions and stock management.
End of season sale proposal – complete roll up in line with budget spend and timelines.
Liaise with the E-comm team regarding Visual Merchandising of web and weekly marketing plans.

Requirements:

Proficient in Excel.
Strong commercial acumen.
Comfortable with hybrid working (4 days in the office, 1 day from home).
