Job Title: Assistant Merchandiser

About the Role:

Hush is a leading online fashion retailer, and we're looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join our team. As an Assistant Merchandiser, you will play a key role in analysing sales and trade data to ensure critical path dates are achieved. You will support the Merchandising Manager with our NEXT & outlet partnerships, ensuring timely and accurate stock distribution and replenishment across all product categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce trading reports to summarise, analyse and identify key sales drivers.
  • Gain a good understanding of product performance and articulate in Best/Worst meetings.
  • Make weekly trading proposals to the Merchandiser in relation to sales reactions and stock management.
  • Competent in forecasting Category WSSI, and Line card projections for continuity product
  • Manage intake in conjunction with the Buying department, ensuring critical dates are met for product launch.
  • End of season sale proposal – complete roll up in line with budget spend and timelines.
  • Liaise with the Ecommerce team with regards to visual merchandising on the Hush website and weekly marketing plans
  • Liaise with the team to ensure stock is optimised across channels.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable with hybrid working (4 days in, 1 day from home)
  • Proficient in Excel, using formulas, pivot tables and updating reports (essential)
  • Knowledge of allocation and merchandising tools such as Business Central (BC) and PLM is desirable
  • Numerical excellence/mathematical ability
  • Well organised with high attention to detail
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Proactive team player
