The role of Quantity Surveyor is crucial to the company's future development and success in delivering projects. As a key member of the team, you will demonstrate broad commercial skills and a strong background, whilst understanding the commercial drivers, risk profiles, and key success factors for clients procuring construction/civils works.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring the financial aspects and impact of a contract are clear to management.
- Provide detailed financial reports, including budget monitoring, cost, and value.
- Maintain auditable records relating to all relevant aspects of the company's operations, including those pertinent to specific projects.
- Have clear responsibility for the management of cost and value.
- Provide accurate progress reporting for site works.
- Ensure the effective management of all projects under your control is carried out in accordance with client requirements, current legislation, and industry standards.
- Perform risk and value management, identifying, analyzing, and developing responses, including commercial risks.
- Devise accurate, efficient commercial systems to support and improve current structure.
- Meet all deadlines in a proactive and forthcoming manner, including all internal weekly/monthly commercial reporting meetings.
- Relevant degree-level qualification.
- CSCS Competency.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Seven years' experience in the performance of duties outlined within this job description.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Project.
- Excellent contractual knowledge desirable.
