Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

The role of Quantity Surveyor is crucial to the company's future development and success in delivering projects. As a key member of the team, you will demonstrate broad commercial skills and a strong background, whilst understanding the commercial drivers, risk profiles, and key success factors for clients procuring construction/civils works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring the financial aspects and impact of a contract are clear to management.
  • Provide detailed financial reports, including budget monitoring, cost, and value.
  • Maintain auditable records relating to all relevant aspects of the company's operations, including those pertinent to specific projects.
  • Have clear responsibility for the management of cost and value.
  • Provide accurate progress reporting for site works.
  • Ensure the effective management of all projects under your control is carried out in accordance with client requirements, current legislation, and industry standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Perform risk and value management, identifying, analyzing, and developing responses, including commercial risks.
  • Devise accurate, efficient commercial systems to support and improve current structure.
  • Meet all deadlines in a proactive and forthcoming manner, including all internal weekly/monthly commercial reporting meetings.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree-level qualification.
  • CSCS Competency.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
Experience:
  • Seven years' experience in the performance of duties outlined within this job description.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Project.
  • Excellent contractual knowledge desirable.
