About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team at ProTalent Limited. As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in planning, executing, and completing audits, reporting to managers and partners.

The Firm:

Our client is a Top 20 Chartered Accountancy Practice with a network of offices, ranked in the top 20 Auditors in the UK. They offer a fabulous working environment with an impressive and established employee benefits program.

The Role:

As an Audit Senior, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Planning, execution, and completion of audits reporting to managers and partners
  2. Preparation of accounts, reports, and other assignments as required
  3. Co-ordinating planning at clients, including liaising with relevant departments within the firm
  4. Communicating and building relationships with clients and related third parties
  5. Leading on-site audit teams and completing jobs with minimal supervision, to deadlines and within budget
  6. Business development, including promoting the firm and its services to the existing client base and prospects
  7. Development and supervision of trainees

Requirements:

The successful candidate will require:

  1. Completed ACA / ACCA qualification
  2. Solid experience in Audit and Assurance within an accountancy practice
  3. Experience of leading external audit assignments from fieldwork to completion stages under International Standards on Auditing
  4. Experience of preparing accounts in accordance with UK GAAP
