Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Preston, Lancashire. The post offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services for children and young people.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert psychiatric care to children and young people, working closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
This is a part-time position (6PA) that requires participation on the Consultant On Call rota, with additional remuneration provided.
Key Responsibilities- Providing input to the Preston CYP service and Royal Preston Hospital A&E and Paediatric ward
- Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in the Consultant On Call rota and contributing to the development of clinical guidelines
- MBBS or equivalent qualification
- Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise
- On GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months
- Section 12 approved or within 3 months
- AC status or within 3 months
This role offers a competitive salary of £105,504 to £139,882 per annum, pro-rata, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth within the NHS.
