We are seeking a highly skilled Group Accountant to join our team at Wade Macdonald. As a key member of our Group Reporting Team, you will play a pivotal role in preparing consolidated management accounts and lender reporting, supporting the annual audit and statutory accounts, and enhancing group reporting and budgeting processes.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare consolidated management accounts and commentary pack within the monthly timetable.
- Prepare quarterly reporting for bank finance lenders.
- Support auditors with acquisition and technical accounting entries.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for complex accounts and review group balance sheets.
- Support the statutory audit process and prepare necessary accounting papers.
- Collaborate on statutory accounts and disclosures across various jurisdictions.
- Provide ad hoc technical accounting support and assist with other projects as required.
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) ideally practice trained and possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
