Key Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and fundraising initiatives
- Drive the commercialisation of services, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and budgetary targets
- Foster partnerships and advance the organisation's vision and mission to provide high-quality care and support to local communities
- Act as the Group Data Protection Officer, monitoring internal compliance, advising on data protection obligations, and providing guidance on Data Protection Impact Assessments
- Substantial experience in a senior business development role, ideally within the health and social care or charitable sectors
- Demonstrable experience in managing projects and leading initiatives that drive business growth
- Experience of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, fundraising, and driving commercialisation of services
- Experience in partnership development and stakeholder engagement
- Experience of tendering development and contract management
- Familiarity with digital marketing, including PPC, SEO, and social media strategies
- Understanding of data protection regulations in line with the Data Protection Act 2018
- A competitive salary of between £50,000 and £55,000, dependent on experience, with bonus payments of 2.5% of new business
- ~27 days' annual leave entitlement, rising with service up to 32 days, excluding bank holidays
