Job Details:

We are currently seeking a Senior Ecologist to join our team at Additional Resources. As a Senior Ecologist, you will play a key role in leading ecological surveys, preparing technical reports, and mentoring junior staff members.

**Job Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A degree in ecology or a related field;
* At least 4 years' professional experience in ecological consultancy;
* Skilled in UK botany, including FISC level 4 certification and experience in UK Habitat Classification Surveys;
* Background in writing and reviewing Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and conducting Biodiversity Net Gain Assessments;
* Hold a strong understanding of ecological legislation, consultancy, and planning policy;
* Be registered to use at least two Natural England protected species licences, including a Level 2 Bat Survey Licence;
* Valid UK driving licence and a vehicle insured for business use.

**Benefits:**
We offer a competitive salary of £36,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits, hybrid working arrangements, and opportunities for professional growth.
