About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Engineer to join our team at Briggs Equipment UK Limited in Cannock. As a Workshop Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and providing exceptional service to our customers.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with experience working on diesel, LPG and electrical materials handling equipment. You will be responsible for the service and maintenance of our equipment, including fault finding, planned preventative maintenance, and pre-delivery inspection.
In addition to your technical skills, you will also be expected to maintain a clean and orderly working area, adhering to all health and safety guidelines and workshop rules. You will also be responsible for completing job cards and ensuring all required parts to complete tasks are ordered.

Requirements:
- Experience of working on diesel, LPG and electrical materials handling equipment
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles
- Previous experience within a workshop or field-based position
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload
- Relevant technical qualification
