About the Company:

CV-Library is an international design and manufacturing organisation with a strong reputation in various industries.

We are looking for an experienced Group HSE Manager to join our team based in Glasgow.

The successful candidate will be responsible for pushing the UK HSE function forward and working closely with the Global HSE Director and site management team.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Developing and implementing HSE strategies and policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  2. Providing expert advice and guidance to employees on HSE requirements and best practices.
  3. Conducting risk assessments and investigations into accidents and near-misses.
  4. Supporting site management in implementing HSE initiatives and monitoring progress.
  5. Designing and delivering HSE training programs.
  6. Collaborating with other departments to ensure a consistent approach to HSE.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have at least 3 years' experience in a similar position, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

You should also hold a NEBOSH diploma or a postgraduate degree in Health, Safety, and Environmental Management and have a thorough understanding of Safety and Environmental standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).

A sound understanding of the application of current and relevant HSE legislation is essential.
