About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Beverley Minster Church of England Primary School. As a key member of our teaching support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring every child receives the care, support, and guidance they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in planning, teaching, and assessing an innovative curriculum that meets the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and a sense of community.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
