About Majestic Wine

Majestic Wine is the UK's largest specialist wine retailer, operating a network of stores nationwide. We're passionate about providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, and we're looking for a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team as a Sales Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and supporting the team to meet and exceed targets.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and experience to drive business growth through customer loyalty and repeat purchases.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our wine range to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Take ownership of the physical appearance and maintenance of the store, both internally and externally.
  • Contribute to the day-to-day operational running of the store, including delivering wine to customers, merchandising stock deliveries, and calling valued customers to drive sales opportunities.

Requirements
  • Excellent time-management, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience and service to every single customer.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive when working alone and as part of a team.
  • Passion for wine and a willingness to learn and develop knowledge of our range.
  • Hold a full UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
