About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our team in Leicester. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of audit assignments from planning to completion, working closely with senior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and project manage a varied portfolio of audit clients, including leading audit assignments
  • Review statutory accounts, corporation tax computations and returns
  • Preparation of reports to be presented by Directors during client meetings
  • Converse clearly and effectively by using computer software including IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
  • Support junior staff by reviewing work and knowledge sharing
  • Liaise directly with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries
  • Work to client expectations, budgets, and deadlines
  • Promote services to existing and prospective clients
  • Champion your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team
  • Support the wider firm with ad hoc duties as needed

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Audit Senior who is ACCA or ACA qualified, or has equivalent experience. You will have a solid understanding of UK audit regulations and good communication skills, both verbal and written.

You will be a self-motivated and reliable individual who is eager to progress, with strong time management and organisational skills. You will also have enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team and a hands-on attitude towards building client relationships.
