Audit & Accounts Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit & Accounts Manager to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in audit and general accounting, with experience managing a team of accountants and a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, from planning to completion.
- Allocate audit work in the field and the office.
- Prepare and review statutory accounts.
- Prepare tax computations when relevant to audit assignments.
- Work closely with clients to build trusted relationships and provide support.
- Deliver a strong commercial awareness and review opportunities for fee development.
- Confidently present work to Partners and complete files to a high standard.
- Underpin audit and accounts matters with current legislation and compliance.
- Delegate work to and mentor an audit team, supporting their learning and development.
- Set an example for the team as a natural leader and represent the firm at networking opportunities.
