Temporary Finance Officer

St Cuthbert's Care is looking for a highly motivated Temporary Finance Officer to join our finance team on a fixed-term contract basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the charity's finances, maintaining accounting systems, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
We offer a competitive salary of £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 27 days annual leave, company sick pay scheme, and staff savings scheme.
About the Role:
The Temporary Finance Officer will be responsible for:
- Managing the charity's finances, including cash handling and banking
- Maintaining accounting systems, such as Sage
- Providing support to members of the finance team with sales ledger and month end reporting
Requirements:
- AAT or higher qualification desirable
- Excellent spreadsheet skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexibly and prioritize tasks effectively
